The aim of the policy is to assure members that the information we hold is held and stored in accordance with GDPR. This is enforced by the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
The only information we hold about you has been provided by you when joining the society or by you when updating the original information.
It is stored on a password-protected computer system and/ or paper system. Access to both is strictly limited, e.g Chairman and Membership Secretary.
Your data consists of a maximum of:
Full Name, Address, Telephone (landline and/or mobile) and email.
This information is used only to contact you on membership or society business, including our
bi-monthly Newsletter and special events we wish to bring to your attention.
It would never be shared with any other organisation and is not kept after your membership ceases.
